Dear Friend of Garden Hills,
As the President of the Garden Hills Garden Club, I would like to extend an invitation to you to join our women’s social and service club. Garden Hills is special. Despite being in the heart of Atlanta’s hustle and bustle, the families who live here experience a true sense of community. The Garden Club plays a key role in the neighborhood’s vibrant social scene, by providing neighborhood women fun and purposeful ways to meet and enjoy each other’s company.
Despite our name, we don’t do much gardening.
Instead, we offer members a variety of monthly activities and events. Club activities include parties for members & their spouses, monthly members-only programs, and seasonal fun for neighborhood children (Halloween parade, Reindeer Holiday party, Tree Lighting ceremony, and an Easter Egg Hunt).
We also have two annual “FUN”draisers: the Ice Cream Social and Holiday Mailbox Decorations (late November-early December). Proceeds from both events go to the maintenance and improvement of Garden Hills, and to local organizations such as our fire station, police precinct, library, and public elementary school.
The Garden Club is an excellent way to meet your neighbors, get involved with your community, and make Garden Hills seem like more of a home. Our current membership is over 120 women strong, and we’d love to have you join us too! To become a member, download and fill out our New Member Form.
For more information about the Club, check out About Us, or our Photo Gallery. Please don’t hesitate to contact me or our Membership Chair, Mary B. Fischer, at email@example.com – we’d love to hear from you!
Can’t wait to meet you,
President, GHGC Board
